Shoulder pain relief techniques

Shoulder Pain Relief Techniques That ACTUALLY WORK

Do you have shoulder pain that won't go away?

The shoulder is a complex joint with many moving parts. Often, some of the smaller "parts" get over looked when we are having shoulder pain. One particular area that is often over looked is the acromioclavicular joint, or what is commonly referred to as the ac joint.

The small gliding joint is comprised of the distal end of the clavicle (collar bone) and the acromion process of the scapula (shoulder blade).

The ac joint will lose it's ability to glide properly as arthritic changes set in as we get older. Also, fascial adhesions (scar tissue) formation in muscles that connect to the clavicle and scapula can also be responsible for lack of ac joint movement.

In today's video I go over myofascial release techniques to the 3 muscles involved in restricting ac joint movement: The clavicular portion of the pectoralis major, the subclavius muscle, and the upper trapezius muscle.

I also demonstrate a mobilization technique for the ac joint to help get it "gliding" again!

Give these myofascial release and mobilization techniques a try! After you do, leave me a comment in the comment section down below. I'd love to hear from you!
