Release Tight Quads: The Ultimate Routine

Do you have knee and or hip pain? Do you experience a lot of tightness and restriction in the front of your thighs (quadriceps)? Are you overstretching your hamstrings but rarely stretching your quadriceps?

The quadriceps are the 4 muscles located at the front of your thigh. They consist of the vastus medialis (VMO), vastus lateralis, vastus intermedius, and the rectus femoris (the rectus femoris is the only quadriceps muscle that crosses the hip joint and assist in hip flexion).

The quadriceps are often not stretched enough. Most people tend to overstretch the hamstrings and under stretch the quads. This is a big mistake. The quadriceps can build up restriction (fascial adhesions...AKA scar tissue). This restriction can result in knee and or hip pain.

In today's video, I share my 3 part program to loosen up the quadriceps. It consist of myofascial release techniques and stretching.

I hope you enjoy today's video and find the information helpful!

After you try these techniques, I'd love to hear your feedback. Leave me a comment down below and let me know.
